Jean Delay Prize
The Jean Delay Prize is the most important award of the World Psychiatric Association: it bears the name of Jean Delay, the President of the first World Congress of Psychiatry (Paris, 1950) and the first President of our Association.
The Jean Delay Prize will be awarded during the XVI World Congress of Psychiatry (Madrid, 2014) by an international jury to an individual who has made a major contribution in the biological, psychological or social aspects of Psychiatry or has built useful bridges between them.
The prize consists of a diploma, a medal and a check for the amount of 40,000 Euros. The awardee is expected to deliver a plenary lecture at the World Congress of Psychiatry.
Deadline for nominations is December 31, 2013.
