Ethiopia’s first National Mental Health Symposium calls for reform Jan 14, 2015 Posted by Gulbenkian The symposium, held under the theme “Reforming Mental Health Services in Ethiopia: Future Perspectives, Developments and Challenges”, and organized by the Federal Ministry of Health (FMoH), was the first of its kind in the country. It was attended by over 300 participants including policy-makers, academicians, mental health professionals, civil society organizations, faith-based leaders and representatives of international organizations to discuss effective strategies to address mental health care in Ethiopia.
