UNHCR’s mental health and psychosocial support for persons of concern
This review reports on how well the United Nations High Commission for Refugees considers and provides for the well-being and mental health of persons of concern to the agency. Its findings are based on policy analysis, results from a survey of UNHCR staff, and interviews with UNHCR staff, MHPSS staff from other international organisations and nongovernmental organisations, and academics in the field of MHPSS research. Based on these findings, the review recommends how UNHCR can improve and build upon MHPSS activities.
